Gifted Education

In all Kansas schools, gifted education programming is a part of the umbrella of services for students with exceptionalities. Students who are found eligible for gifted education services are provided with an Individualized Education Program (IEP), similar to students with disabilities. Gifted education services are not available to pre-school students.

In the 2019-2020 school year, SKACD began to operate our own gifted education programs. Prior to that school year, all of our member districts operated their own gifted education programs.
