Leadership Team

SKACD is an accredited school district under Kansas statute. We are a collaborative interlocal agency that provides special education and related services to 14 school districts in SW Kansas.  We are governed by a Board of Directors, which consists of one representative from each of our member districts. The Board of Directors is ultimately responsible for setting the mission, vision, and other SKACD goals.

Daily administrative tasks are completed by SKACD administrators:

• Jason Wright, Deputy Director
• Joe Meador, Assistant Director
• Amy Olivares, Assistant Director
• Matt Legg, Education Programs Coordinator

SKACD also has special education coordinators who supervise and direct departments/programs within our agency:

• Sharon Stockton, Gifted Education Coordinator
• Jill Ewy, Secondary Coordinator
